He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Thornton of Rockland, NB; his children, Velvet Larrabee (Tim) of Mars Hill, Maine, Sheldon Thornton (Jeanette) of Hartland, NB and Jackie Thornton of Hartland, NB; his grandchildren, Brittany Shaw, Craig Shaw (Matt Golding), Renee DeMerchant and Megan Kearney (Jeff); his great grandchild Jaxon Clair; his siblings, Dwight Thornton (Debbie) of Windsor, NB, Francis Farkas of London, ON, Shaun Thornton (Wendy) of London, ON, Lisa Thornton of London, ON, Malcolm Thornton of London, ON and Dale Thornton (Lynn) of London, ON; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Thornton of London, ON, John Barnham of London, ON and David Bashdon of London, ON. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
