He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Hathaway and Elijah Hathaway; his son Winston Hathaway; and his siblings, Paul Hathaway, Charlie Hathaway, James Hathaway and Dorothy Hawkes (Cecil).
He is survived by: his daughters, Robin Hayes (Fred) of Bannon and Kim Newcombe of Perth, Australia; his close friend Doreen Reid of Centreville; his grandchildren, Matthew Hayes (Janice), Nicholas Hayes (Courtney), Ryan Hathaway, Desiree Foster, Brittany Sharpe (Jordan) and Brandi Sarchfield; his great grandchildren, Brody, Kyra, Sophie and Cheyanne; his siblings, Henry Hathaway (Annie) of Bannon and Irma Parsons (Weldon) of Hartland; and his sisters-in-law, Sheila Hathaway and Charlene Hathaway. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
