He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Thompson and Della Thompson (Gardner); his former wife Mary Gardner (McIntyre); his brother Paul; and his sons-in-law, Brian Cooke and Robert Jordan.
He is survived by: his wife Donaldine (McLaughlin); and his daughters, Carolynn Cooke, Angela Kennedy (David), Penny Jordan and Melissa Voutt (Adam). He is also survived by six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Voice of Pentecost Church (84 Harvey Rd, McAdam, NB E6J1A6). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
