She was predeceased by: her parents, John Simpkins and Bertha Simpkins (Colburne); her husband John "Jack"; and her brother James "Jimmy" Simpkins. She is survived by: her sons, David Howatt (Eileen) of Bon Accord, AB and Douglas Howatt (Tanya) of Hillsborough; her grandchildren, Lisa Howatt (Dan), Emily Howatt (Eric), Bretany Holly (Hudson) and Colin Lutes (Justice); her great grandchildren, Jon, Ella, Ryder, Scarlett and Matteo; her sister Carol Ann Eddy of Victoria, BC; and her sister-in-law Carol Simpkins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fergusons Riverview Funeral Centre (214 Pine Glen Rd, Riverview, NB E1B1V6). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fergusons Riverview Community Chapel (214 Pine Glen Rd, Riverview, NB E1B1V6).
