He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Austen and Jennie Austen (Rogers); and his wife Katherine Austen. He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Nash (Michael) of Cambridge, N. S., Laura (Joe Juarez) and Sarah (Josh Moore); his grandchildren, Moira, Matthew, Miranda Nash and Bennett Moore; and his siblings, Brenda Carroll and Matthew Austen. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Albert County Food Bank.
