He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison D Tait and Marion Tait (O'Brian); his siblings, Gerald, Ron Tait and Isabel Steeves (Reg); his granddaughter Melissa Ducey; and his parents-in-law, Vaughan and Amy Black (Paterson).
He is survived by: his children, Tanya Magee (Mike), Sonya Ducey (Chris), Trent Tait and Travis Tait (Heather); his grandchildren, Alicia Ring (Adrian), Joshua Ducey (Karaleigh), Zachary Ducey (Candace), Erin, Hannah Magee (Pat McIsaac), Katrina Tait, Isaac, Isabel Ducey, Jack, Noah and Ella Tait; his brother Harrison Tait (Anne); and his sister-in-law Joan.
