As we bid Robert farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Robert is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hickey and Lillian Hickey (Ward); and his sister Betty Underhill. He is survived by: his wife Elsie Hickey (Lyman); his children, Todd Hickey (Nicole) of Dieppe and Robin Hickey (Dana) of Alma; and his grandchildren, Kira and Daniel (Lacey). He is also survived by family, In-laws, (Lyman family) and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Albert County Funeral Home (4130 NB-114, Hopewell Cape, NB E4H).
