He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Nowlan and Barbara Nowlan; and his daughter Pierrette. He is survived by: his wife Betty Nowlan (Elizabeth Ann); his children, Paul of Ottawa, Michael (Lori) of Calgary, Simone MacPhail (Scott) of Fredericton, Peter (Julie) of Fredericton and Sean (Gail) of Calgary; his grandchildren, Alexandra, Megan, Sarah, Matt, Joshua and Claire; his great grandchildren, Prescott and Paxton; and his sister Dorilla of Dieppe.

Donations in Peter's memory may be made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital.
