With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lena Roy of Riverview, New Brunswick, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 15, 2024 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Shevery and Tina Ripley; her husband Robert F. Roy (Rob); her daughter Helen Chaffey (Shevon); and her sister Teresa Myra.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Kuehl (Daniel) of Sussex, NB, Robert Roy of Riverview, NB, Nancy Roy of Riverview, NB and Cindy Roy of Riverview, NB; her grandchildren, Shawna Stevenson (Matt), Ryan Kuehl (Shana), Kortnee Chaffey, Corey Chaffey, Rob D. Roy (Tim), Daniel Roy (Allison) and Makenzie Roy; her great grandchildren, Hank, Peter Stevenson, Knox, Kollyns Kuehl, Reid and Mason Roy; and her siblings, Maria Metcalfe of Dartmouth, NS, Margaret Milner of Dartmouth, NS and Michael Shevery (Brenda) of Pembroke, NS. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lena made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by her family.
