He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Murray and Doris Murray (McCready) of Penobsquis; his brother Gary Murray (Pat) of Cassidy Lake; and his siblings-in-law, MaryAnn Sproul, Bob Anderson, Stan Sproul and Bob Alexander.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lee Murray (Mercer) of Apohaqui; his children, Peter Murray (Dawn Constantine) of Penobsquis, Heather Hunt (Barry) of Moncton and Lesley Stewart (Bradley) of Miramichi; his siblings, Donna Stultz (Tom) of Riverview and Ed Murray (Donna) of Penobsquis; his sisters-in-law, Susan Anderson, Cathy Alexander and Jane Mercer; and his grandchildren, Kennedy Hunt, Keegan Hunt, Jack Stewart, Cohen Stewart and Case Stewart.
