He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Petty and Dorothy Petty. He is survived by: his wife Janet Petty; his children, Chris Petty (Joann) and Tonya Richard (Marcel); his stepchildren, Matthew Cripps (Carolyne Marcucci) and Shannon Cripps (Matthew Sebastian); and his grandchildren, Zack and Nich Petty.
