She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Johnston and Blanche Johnston (Wilson); her son Duane; and her siblings, Linda Nealy, Roy Johnston, Joyce Jones and Ardith Blanchard.
She is survived by: her daughter Angela Beatty; her sister Muriel Tingley; her grandchildren, Rebecca, Cassandra, Natalya, Czarina, Zachary and Skylar; and her pets, Puck, Marley, Paynther and Shae. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Donations made to The Kidney Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or People for Animal Well Being would be appreciated by her family.
