He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Gallagher and Arlie Gallagher (Foley); his son Ian; and his brothers, Bill, Parker, John and Brian.

He is survived by: his wife Audrey (Hawkes); his daughters, Beverly (Stephen), Deborah (David) and Moriah (Patrick); and his daughter-in-law Katie (Billy). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Donations made to Friends of the Moncton Hospital or a charity of the donor's choice would be, appreciated by his family.
