He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Trewin and Betty Trewin (Fleming); and his sister Linda Nugent. He is survived by: his close friend Jane McKnight; his grandchildren, Elijah, Jack, Gray and Anna Zwicker; his sisters, Mary (Gordon), Nancy (Doug) and Kerry; his siblings-in-law, John Nugent, Ruth Vaughan (Gilles) and Judith Sorenson (Andrew); and also, Kristin Zwicker (Rob), Kelsey McKnight (Ian) and Jeffrey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and families, who thought Uncle.
