He is survived by: his wife Heather; his sons, Ian (Cheryl), Reid (Lisa) and Hugh (Anne Marie); his siblings, Elsie Martin (late Jim), Bob MacDiarmid (Iris) and Ron MacDiarmid (Diane); his grandchildren, Alex (Maddy Wong), Erin (Corey Bartels), Dayton, Shayna, Garret, Connor (Hannah), Carrigan and Sara; and his great grandchildren, Nori and Charlotte. He is also survived by several nieces and, nephews.
