He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Elderkin and Emily Elderkin (Wilson); his siblings, Zenith, Carol, Virginia "Clara", Dorothy, June, Mildred, Douglas, Clifford, Sherman, Verdun, Sydney, Wyman and Edward; and his sister-in-law Cindy Graves.
He is survived by: his wife Golda Elderkin (Graves); his children, Kevin Elderkin (Stephanie) of Weldon and Karen Elderkin (Brian) of Toronto, ON; his sister Ferne LeBlanc (Eric); and his siblings-in-law, Grace Elderkin of Riverside-Albert, Sheila Steeves (Norval) of Salem, Pat Tingley of Hopewell Cape, Gilbert MacNutt of Fredericton and Paul Graves of Weldon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
