Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Shyla Louise Francis (Richibucto, New Brunswick), born in Moncton, New Brunswick, who passed away, on February 5, 2021. She was predeceased by: her stepbrother William Jr.; and her grandson Kenai. She is survived by: her parents, William Nevin and Connie Francis of Elsipogtog; her husband Jody Joseph of Elsipogtog; her children, Nevada Renelle Francis (Warren) of Elsipogtog, Lexi Daigle of Elsipogtog, Brodie Bernard of Elsipogtog, Curtis Simon of Elsipogtog, Jacoby Francis of Richibucto, Atoen Daigle of Elsipogtog and Sidney Joseph of Elsipogtog; her grandchild Jayden Gould; her stepparents, Blayne Peters and Lenore Augustine of Elsipogtog; her grandmother Louise Francis (late Antony) of Elsipogtog; her sister Kayla Nevin (Travis Augustine) of Elsipogtog; her stepsisters, Barbara Purcell of Winnipeg and Kachina Nevin of Elsipogtog; her brothers, Tony Nevin (Aislen) and Thunder Nevin (Maikayla); her stepbrothers, Derek Nevin (Tina) of Shubenacadie, Michael Nevin (Tammy) of Rexton, Moin Nevin (Angel) of Elsipogtog, Elijah Peters of Elsipogtog and Brett Levi of Elsipogtog; and her goddaughter Sahara Nevin. She is also survived by many close friends, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions arrangements will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate tying a green ribbon around the trees at her residence in memory of Shyla and to acknowledge mental health awareness beginning on Sunday, February 7, 2021.
