He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Northrup and Winnifred Northrup (Lamb); his parents-in-law, Edgar and Pauline Jamieson (McCurdy); his siblings-in-law, Judy Northrup, Denise Jamieson and Dennis Allen; and his nephews, Carey and Timmy Northrup.

He is survived by: his wife Debbie (Jamieson); his children, Brian (Jillian) and Krista (Alex Ryan); his grandchildren, Devon Northrup, Kennedy Northrup, Kaleb (Lines), Brayden, Shealynn Waterhouse, Chantelle (Kyle Foster) and Adriana Ryan; his siblings, Ron (Marilyn), Don Northrup, Sharon Allen and Cathy Hitchcock (Randy); and his brothers-in-law, David Jamieson (Pat) and Michael Jamieson (Jocelyn). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
