He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Guimond and Leona Guimond (Doucet); his son George; and his siblings, Alice, Bertha, Eva, Jeanette, Rita, Frank, Delore and Alcide.

He is survived by: his wife Edmée Guimond of Richibucto; his children, Anne, Marie Guimond (Archille) of MacIntoch Hill, Irene Caissie (Rheal) of Richibucto, Joanne White (Ross) of Fredericton, Germaine Guimond (Denis) of Richibucto and Paul Guimond (Morla) of Richibucto; his daughter-in-law Gisele Guimond of Cap Lumiere; and his brothers, Tim Guimond (Roseline) of Richibucto, Ernest Guimond (late Albertine) of St. Charles and Vernon Guimond. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
