He was predeceased by: his parents, John Augustine and Gertrude (Beadle); his wife Marilyn Dedam; and his sister Rosie Levi. He is survived by: his children, Cheyanne Augustine and Alphonse Jr. of Elsipogtog; his grandchildren, Cameron, Hannah, Sophia, Dawson, Eagle, Niponiw, Aluhk, Nikeda and Jacenta; his great grandchild Piper; and his siblings, Evangeline Augustine, Mary Elizabeth Augustine and John Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at 324 Big Cove Rd, Richibucto Parish, NB E4W2S5. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at the Sainte-Anne Catholic Church Cemetery (202 Main St, Elsipogtog First Nation, NB E4W2X9). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sainte-Anne Roman, Catholic Church (202 Main St, Elsipogtog First Nation, NB E4W2X9).
