Albert Babineau Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Albert Babineau (Richibucto, New Brunswick), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Albert Babineau to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father André Babineau; his wife Eliza Babineau (Richard); and his stepmother Rosalie Richard. He is survived by: his children, Huberte Hébert (Adrien) of Ste. Anne and Edmond Babineau (Ginette) of Rexton; his siblings, Alvina LeBlanc (late Elias) of Bouctouche, Simida Richard (late René) of Richibucto and Jean "Jack" Babineau (late Alexina) of St. Louis; his grandchildren, Michel (Charlene), Jacques (Caroline) and Claude (Natalie); and his great grandchildren, Liam and Lexie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel (33 Rue Acadie, Richibouctou, NB E4W 3V1). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In memory of Albert, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at Stella Maris Hospital and to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada (https://mscanada.ca); they would be greatly appreciated.
