He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Louise Bernard; his stepmother Judy Bernard; his wife Angeline Peters; and his sister Valerie. He is survived by: his father Kenny Bernard of Lennox Island, PEI; his children, Rose Bernard of Souris, PEI, Zachary Gallant of O'Leary, PEI, Damien Bernard of Elsipogtog and Tapit Bernard of Elsipogtog; his grandchildren, Zavier and Kaliani; his siblings, April Augustine (Robert) of Elsipogtog, Carolanne Lewis (Parker) of Lennox Island, PEI, Dale Augustine of Charlottetown, PEI, Kenny Bernard (Ruby) of Charlottetown, PEI, Terry Bernard of Lennox Island, PEI, Joseph Augustine of Lennox Island, PEI, Troy Bernard (Kerri) of Lennox Island, PEI and Jason Milliea of Elsipogtog; his uncles, Timothy Bernard (Tanya) and Mark Bernard; his aunt Debbie Bernard; and his godchildren, Reece and Aiden. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
