He was predeceased by: his wife Delia Cormier (Maillet); his parents, Alexandre Cormier and Catherine Cormier (Richard); his son Roméo; and his siblings, Louise, Céline, Rita, Anita, Henri, Gerard, Zoël, Joseph Eric of Shediac and Yvon.

He is survived by: his children, Gisèle Doucette (Isidore) of Richibouctou-Village, Guy (Corinne) of Moncton and Bernard (Rosa) of Richibouctou-Village; his grandchildren, Marcel, Cynthia and Mélanie; his great grandchildren, Jessy, Kory, Mylène and Simon; and his sister Leona Babineau of Richibouctou-Village. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
