He was predeceased by: his parents, Léopold "Polo" Guimond and Emma Fontaine; and his siblings, Yvonne, Dora, Jeanne, Roger, Normand and George.

He is survived by: his children, Sonia Milliea (Owen) of Richibouctou-Village, André, Caissie and René Caissie (Hilary); the mother of his child Géraldine Guimond; the mother of his children Flora Johnson; his siblings, Yvette McGraw (Ronnie) of Saint-John, Claudette Robichaud (late Roy) of St. Louis, Lilliane Ferguson (late Willie) of Dieppe, Lorraine Dugas (Paul) of St. Louis, Rose-Eva Comeau (George) of Aldouane, Jocelyne Guimond (Laurent Brideau) of Richibucto, Laurie Guimond (Janice Belliveau) of St. Charles, Donald Guimond (Rachel Daigle) of St. Louis and Gérald Guimond (Francine Salois) of St. Hyacinthe, QC; his grandchildren, Madison, Mason, Stella and Thomas; and his caregiver Isabelle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
