He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Dedam and Mary Janet Dedam (Sock); his son Mick; and his brothers, Eldon and Alfred "Amo".
He is survived by: his girlfriend Linda McQueen of Blackville; his children, Angel Lee Kinnear (Marty) of Cap Pele and Brian Dedam of Port Elgin; his siblings, Shirley Levi (Dan) of Elsipogtog, Brenda Dedam (Clayton) of Elsipogtog, Wanda Augustine of Elsipogtog and Dominic Dedam of Elsipogtog; and his sister-in-law Leta Dedam of Elsipogtog. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at 27 Riverside Dr, Richibucto Indian Reserve No. 15, NB E4W2Y2. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church (202 Main St, Elsipogtog First Nation, NB E4W2X9).
