Annie Mary Gillespie Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Mary Gillespie (Renous, New Brunswick), who passed away on December 18, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Sturgeon and Ada Sturgeon (Astle); her grandmother Annie; her husband Bobby (Bobby); her sons, Gary and Phonse; her children-in-law, Bernard Manderville, Bernice Gillespie and Twila Gillespie; her grandson Cody Gillespie; her grandsons-in-law, Sean Buckley and Shannon Duffy; and her siblings, Eileen, Sylvia, Joan, Roxy and Frank.
She is survived by: her close friend Terry Mullin of Renous; her children, Debbie (Roger) of Renous, Corrine of Nelson, Brian (Brenda) of Warwick Settlement and Sydney (Judy) of Renous; her children-in-law, Darlene Gillespie of Renous, Paula Taylor of Renous, Ica Kazamer of Calgary, AB and Roger Hallihan of Renous; her grandchildren, Lance, Stacey, Roberta, Ashley, Derick, Amanda, Ryan, Amy, Poncho, Becky, Liam, Courtenay, Bobby and Kristy; her sisters, Geraldine, Shirley, Lena, Mary and Thelma; and her close friend Mary Lou Campbell. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St Bridget's Roman Catholic Church (12 St Bridget Crescent, Renous, NB E9E2E9). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Annie's memory, either directly to the family or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
