He was predeceased by: his parent Leander Gibson; his children, Paulette, Beverly and Claudie; and his siblings, Isabelle Gibson, Shirley Johnson, Maude Kelsie, Muriel Fletcher, Eugene, Douglas and John "Avon".
He is survived by: his parent Lucy Gibson (Viner); his children, Valerie, Jacqueline, Vonnie, Phyllistein, Lisa, Raymond, James, Richard "Ricky", Dean and Stacy; and his siblings, Leah Gibson, Judy Ryman, Bernice Gomes, Sylvia MacPhee, Wilfred, Wayne and Carl.
Donations in memory may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion or the Kentville Lions Club.
