He was predeceased by: his father Robert Gillespie (Bobby); his brother Gary; his siblings-in-law, Bernard Manderville and Twila; his nephew Cody; and the mother of his children Bernice Gillespie (Bam).
He is survived by: his mother Annie Gillespie (Sturgeon); his girlfriend Paula Taylor; his children, Becky (Greg), Poncho (Stephanie), Courtenay (Staci), Liam (Becky) and Bobby (Brittany); his grandchildren, Lindsay, Taylor, Kendra, Madison, Maguire, Peyton, Preston, Macaully, Sawyer, Sheamus and Londyn; his great grandchildren, Lydia, Erin and Jaxson; and his siblings, Brian, Sydney, Debbie and Corrine.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St Bridget's Roman Catholic Church (12 St Bridget Crescent, Renous, NB E9E2E9). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request donations to be made in Phonse's memory, either directly to the family or supplies to the SPCA.
