It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Harris (Red Bank, New Brunswick), born in Miramichi, New Brunswick, who passed away on June 22, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Harris and Jean Harris (MacFarlane); and his brother Frank Harris. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Harris (Marshall) of Cassilis; his children, Tanya Mutch (Pat) of Fredericton, Tammy Harris (Allan Irving) of Cassilis, Serena Hare of Miramichi, Jason Hare of Moncton and Tyler Harris (Crystal) of Sunny Corner; and his siblings, Debbie Scott (Bruce) of Saint John, Tom Harris (Ann) of Newfoundland, Bob Harris (Mandy) of Cassilis, Dave Harris (late Rose) of Miramichi and Richard Harris (Ellen) of Saint John. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Miramichi SPCA, St Stephen's United Church in Red Bank, or to a memorial of one's choice.
