He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Thompson and Nina "Blanche" Thompson (McDowell); and his siblings, Elmer, Maurice, Marie and Inez.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn (Jones); his children, Pamela Thompson-Bourque (Peter) and Gregory (Tammy); his stepson Glenn Beers (Aleta); his siblings, Pat and Eldon; his grandchildren, Melody, Jacob Bourque, Emmalee, Alexander Thompson, Meghan and Joshua Beers; and his pet Trumen. He is also survived by numerous brother and sister in laws and nieces and nephews.
