It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William James Albert Finlay (Quispamsis, New Brunswick), born in Saint John, New Brunswick, who passed away on August 20, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Finlay and Elizabeth Finlay (Winchester); his sister Louise Connell; his siblings-in-law, Evelyn Finlay and Stan Boyle; and his nephew Thomas Boyle.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Finlay (Saunders); his sons, Roger of Rothesay, Terry (Sue) of Kingston, Tony (Debbie) of Erbs Cove and Greg (Donna) of Erbs Cove; his siblings, Doug of Saint John, Betty Sahagian of Airdrie, AB and Ann Pettifer of Nauwigewauk; and his siblings-in-law, Fred Connell of Oromocto and Janet Cunningham of Quispamsis. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
