He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Smith and Sarah Smith (MacGuire); and his siblings, Maurice, Earle and Elsie Lawson.
He is survived by: his wife Germaine (Cormier) of Quispamsis; his sons, Robert (Margaret) of Guilford, CT and Michael of Quispamsis; his grandchildren, Taylor (Sean) and Riley; and his great grandchildren, Cameron, Calvin and Scoop.
