Though Karen Elizabeth may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

She was predeceased by: Mark Pursey. She is survived by: her parents, Richard Phillips and Margaret Phillips (Dupuis); her daughter Kirsten Appleby (Liam) of Quispamsis; her granddaughter Nora; her brother Kevin Phillips (Christina); her niece Kara Milliron of North Carolina; and her mother-in-law Alice Pursey.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home (152 Pettingill Rd, Quispamsis, NB E2E3S6). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Karen can be made to Bobby's Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society.
