Joyce Buchanan Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce Buchanan (Quispamsis, New Brunswick), born in Lockeport, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 17, 2018, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Hiram Firth; her daughter Susan Buchanan; and her siblings, Peggy Mattatall and Glenwood Firth. She is survived by: her parent Winnifred Firth (Parks); her children, Linda Buchanan (Kenneth Hasuik) of Sydney, John Buchanan (Phyllis Nicholson) of British Columbia, Richard Buchanan (Joyce Doucette) of Quispamsis and James Buchanan (Jean Leaman) of Moncton; and also Cape Breton. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
