We bid farewell to John Robert Marr (Quispamsis, New Brunswick), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 10, 2024 at the age of 92. John Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Marr and Elsie Marr; his sister Marion; his brother-in-law George Cosman; and his son-in-law Jim Batt.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, David (Daniela), Linda Batt and Beth McCann (Tim); his grandchildren, Angela Marr (Harrison), Peter Batt (Kelly), Amy Batt, Craig Murphy (Megan), James Murphy (McKenzie) and Adriana Onita (Martin); his great grandchildren, Sophia, Hunter, Madison and Rafael; his daughter-in-law Dawn Marr; and his nephew Bob Cosman (Diana).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brenan's Funeral Home (111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB E2K3H6). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel (111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB E2K3H6).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
