She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Parker and Ruby Parker; her husband Harold Maki; and her brother Don Parker. She is survived by: her children, Caroline Cosman (Randy), Kenneth Maki and James Maki (Sheila); her siblings, Mary Chambers, Larry, Allen and Owen Parker; her grandchildren, Talicia (Zack) and Devin Dryden; and her great grandchild Logan Miller. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations in Joan's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice.
