She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Edgar Beyea and Pearl Beyea (Dodge); her grandson Gregory Halpin; her brother John E. Beyea; and her siblings-in-law, Patricia Beyea and Gordon Fraser.
She is survived by: her husband Elmer Scribner; her children, Kevin (Bonnie), Susan (Robert), Cynthia (Graham), Krista (Randall), Jill and Robyn (Ronald); her grandchildren, Ryan, Ashley, Megan, Braden, Drea, Brittany, Stephanie, Colin, Angelus, Kayleigh, Connor, Alisyn and Noah; her great grandchildren, Jaxton, Kade, Easton, Oliver, Thane, Adaelia, Anson and Lincoln; her sister Ruth Fraser; her stepdaughters, Twilah and Elaine; and her stepgranddaughters, Tara and Erica. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Arrangements are under the care of Kennebecasis Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Rd. Quispamsis, NB, (849-2119), with a celebration of Joan's life on Saturday, May 27, 2023, with an interment to follow in Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Hammond River, Stockfarm Rd. For those who wish donations made in memory of Joan can be given the charity of the donor's choice.
