He was predeceased by: his parent Lawrence; his siblings, Joyner (Helena), Bernard (Joyce), Mayvard (Ginette), Archie (Joan), Larry and Pauline Bear (Jim); and his brother-in-law Bernie Quinn.
He is survived by: his spouse Patricia (Gagné); his parent Elizabeth (Downing); his children, Sylvain Roy (Lee Ann) of Edmonton, AB, Karl McCarthy (Rena) of Quispamsis and Jessica MacNeill (James) of Saint John; his siblings, Keith (Mary), Calvin (Barb), Chris (Terri), Emily Quinn, Patricia Paul (Wayne) and Judy Pierce (Charlie); and his grandchildren, Julianne, Nicholas, Alex, Sabrina, Jacob, Kolby, Lea, Connor, Ava and Abigail. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
