She was predeceased by: her husband Frank W. Britten; her parents, Robert R. Ellis and Esther Ellis (May); her sons-in-law, Peter Bushey and Bill Budd; and her brother-in-law Don Britten (Jean).

She is survived by: her children, Sharon Magarity (Paul), Laurine Bushey, Carol Budd (Wayne Thompson), Carl (Anita) and Ian (Lisa); her grandchildren, Jodi Meinert (Celine), Colleen Poirier (Jean Marc), Carrie Hughson (Dave), Opalee Budd (John), Trevor Megarity (Mandy), Cole Britten and Isaac Britten; her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Luke, Asher, Liam, Marcus and Everett; her brother-in-law Ellis Britten (Anne); her nephew David Ellis (Lorna); and her niece Marlean Whittaker (Bill). She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
