She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Green and Eva "Belle" Green (Keeping); and her sister Eleanor Young. She is survived by: her daughter Carol Mercer (Mark); her siblings, Kenneth Greene (Louise) of North Sydney, Dorothy MacLeod (Gordon) of Cape Breton, NS and Anne Jackson (Alexander "Sandy") of Cape Breton, NS; her brother-in-law Fred Young; her grandchildren, Jared, Jordan Bezanson and Zachary Mercer; and her great grandchild Rose Eileen Bezanson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
