He is survived by: his wife Paulette Steele (Haché); his children, Shawn (Brenda) and Reneé (Alec); his grandson Nathan; his great grandchildren, Karen Rocca (James) and Michelle Renner; his sister-in-law Anne Renner (Haché); his pet Ashe; and his siblings, Joan Dalzell (David), Susan Brennan (Ray), Richard (Rita) and Jacky (Nancy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
