She was predeceased by: her father Gordon Millican; her brother Ronald; and her parents-in-law, Margaret and Richard "Joe" Danells. She is survived by: her husband Michael Danells; her mother Betty Millican (Bates); her children, Joe, Paul of Rothesay and Sarah Millican (Ian Donegan) of Ottawa; her brothers, Glenn (Cindy) of Rothesay and Randy (Tammy) of Quispamsis; and her siblings-in-law, Richard (Jenny), Tim (Karen), Mark (Kim), Jeff (Carolyn), Beve Gardner, Sue MacDonald (Cyril) and Jennifer Garnett (Danny). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
