With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Jane Kirkegaard of Quispamsis, New Brunswick, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 28, 2024 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her husband Ejgild; her parents, Archie Leslie and Mabel Leslie (Eaton); and her siblings, Margaret Patterson, Sarah Jean MacDonald, Richard, Melbourne and Clayton.
She is survived by: her children, Hugh (Lois) of Bedford, NS, Daniel (Sandra) of Delta, BC, Annalise Larsen (Kirkegaard) of Quispamsis, NB, Rebecca Kierstead (James) of Quispamsis, NB and Katrina Lee (Brian) of Quispamsis, NB; her grandchildren, Heidi, Maja, Britta, Zachary, Jonathan, Nathan, Aunicka, Karina, Kristin, Abram, Joshua, Kersti, Olivia, Tiana and Isabella; and her sister Alice Mae Hansen. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews.
