With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Annie Mae Walker of Quispamsis, New Brunswick, born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her mother Edna Wong (LaSalle); her husband Donald Walker; her father Dack Wong; her siblings, Van Craig, Peter Wong and Mento Wong; and her great grandchild Ila Goodwin.
She is survived by: her friend Evert Bos of Quispamsis; her sons, Larry of Hammonds Plains, NS, Donny Jr. (Karen) of Nerepis and Danny (Shelly) of Wickham; her grandchildren, Loren, Emma, Danielle (Ray) and Roman; her brothers, Billy, Robert (Deanna) and Jimmy (Linda); and her sister-in-law Shirley Walker. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home (152 Pettingill Rd, Quispamsis, NB E2E3S6). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home Chapel (152 Pettingill Rd, Quispamsis, NB E2E3S6).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Annie would be greatly appreciated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
