It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Frances Ernst in Quispamsis, New Brunswick, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Cyril Ernst; and her parents, Captain Thomas and Kathleen Pittman (Masters). She is survived by: her children, Gregg Ernst (Jennie) of First Peninsula, NS and Trudi Buote (Daryl) of Quispamsis; her siblings, Eileen Smith (John) of Dartmouth, NS, Rita Palhares of Toronto, ON and Mike Pittman of Garden Lots, NS; her grandchildren, Joshua, Marja, John, Peter, Elijah, Eva, Ruth, Esther, Nathan, Samuel Ernst, Gillian, Noah Buote and Thomas Ernst; and her siblings, Ken, Jack, Tom, Jim, Mary, Pauline and Kay (Allan Blue). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Remembrances in memory of Ann can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
