He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Grimwade and Kathleen Grimwade (Mills); his son Jordan York; his brother Timothy Grimwade; his stepdaughter Sasha Dunham; his brothers-in-law, Colin Soundy and Glen Dunham; and his parents-in-law, Bertha and Lawrence Dunham.
He is survived by: his wife Dawna M. Grimwade (Dunham); his daughters, Kimberly McGenerty (Randie) and Paige Grimwade (Eric) of Fredericton, NB; his grandsons, Conner MacDonald and Jack White; his siblings, Edward Grimwade of Toronto, Ontario and Cathrine Soundy of Toronto, Ontario; his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Swan, Sandra Dunham and Lawrence Dunham (Connie); and also Lawrence Dunham. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
