She was predeceased by: her husband James L. Brown; her parents, Carl B. Ash and Marjorie E. Ash (Ehrhardt); her brother Carl Ash; and her brother-in-law Allen Brown.

She is survived by: her stepchildren, Kathy Foster (Shawn), James Gilliand and Jimmy Brown; her granddaughter Alexis; her siblings, Susan McAloon (Gary), Mardi Curry (Gary), Barb McCain (David) and Stephen Ash (Jenny); and her siblings-in-law, Trish Ash, David Brown (Linda), Archie Brown and William Brown. She is also survived by one aunt, one uncle and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
