He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Houlahan and Margaret Houlahan (Strang); his grandchildren, Noah and Maggie Dean; and his daughter-in-law Marlene Williams.
He is survived by: his brother Bernie; his wife Barbara (Newberry); his children, Colleen Houlahan (Ted Nabuurs), Catherine Dean (Brian), Carolyn Houlahan (Garth Joy), Krista-Lynn Hicks (Hugh) and Tim Houlahan (Annik Lauriault); his grandchildren, Patrick, Taya, Connor Nabuurs, Emily (Eric Goyette), Landen (Stephanie Cunningham), Simon Dean, Ella, Scarlett, Harrison and Hudson Hicks; his stepgrandchildren, Baylee Joy, Bronwyn Robichaud, Corey Williams and Raphael Lauriault; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Hayden Corcoran and James Williams; and his brother Bernard Houlahan (Alice). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
