He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fenwick Wright and Lulu Wright (Scott); his children, Derek Wright, Lori Leavitt, Christopher Wright (Barbara), Marshella Deveau (Earl) and Adam Wright (Stephany); and his siblings, Wallace, Phillip, Carroll, Morton, Gertrude, Arletta, Averil, Maxine, Norma and Brenda. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
