He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard George and Wilma George (Martin); his wife Pearl George (Kinney); and his brothers, John George and Reginald George.

He is survived by: his daughter Kellie Carmichael (Ace Clark) of Plaster Rock, NB; his stepdaughter Sherry Labossiere (Colin) of Manitou, MB; and his grandson Dillon Labossiere of Brandon, MB..
